A Transnational
Programme
The programme is
partly situated in Belgium and partly in the Netherlands.
- The first two years students can
follow the programme in Belgium (at the Limburg University at Diepenbeek)
as well as in the Netherlands (at Maastricht University).
- The last two years of the programme
are for the greatest part to be followed in Belgium (at the School of
Knowledge Engineering and Informatics at Diepenbeek).
Educational
models
- The first two Belgian years mainly
consists of courses and tutorials. The year is divided in trimesters.
- The Dutch route starts at Maastricht
University.
The programme consists of projects, courses and tutorials, grouped together
in blocks according to the adapted Aalborg model (Project Oriented Education).
A year has four blocks.
- The last two years are planned
with projects, courses and tutorials again according to the adapted
Aalborg model (Project Oriented Education).
The year is divided in trimesters.
The third year will start with a month at (probably) Baylor University
(Texas, U.S.A.).
The fourth year should be completed with a thesis.
