The Programme evaluation project

Aim of the project

• For improvement purposes; i.e. to provide faculty with feedback about the quality of their programme on which rational decisions for improvement can be based
• For accountability purposes; i.e. to provide faculty with information to signal strong and weak aspects of the quality of their programme.

Method

Students are asked to complete evaluation questionnaires. The items are usually presented as educational aspects of the programme and students are asked give marks (from 1 tot 10) for the quality of the aspects. Feedback about the results is given to teachers as well as students; the results are also put onto the agenda of the programme-committee.
