Welcome at the SME Portal Maastricht University

The SME Portal Maastricht University facilitates the knowledge transfer between the university and entrepreneurs in the (Eu)region.

The SME Portal gives entrepreneurs access to the knowledge of Maastricht University. Knowledge that is mostly in the heads of staff and students. By giving access to this knowledge, the SME Portal contributes to the relation network of the university with regional companies. This network is important for the economic development of the (Eu)region. By providing training in entrepreneurship and allowing students to get acquainted with the SME at an early stage, Maastricht University contributes to a positive image of (own) entrepreneurship among students. With its activities the SME Portal hopes to encourage a large number of highly educated persons to start a business and to improve the economic climate for new businesses in the (Eu)region.
