Call for papers
The EAPL Conference Organizing Committee invites people working in the area of Psychology and Law for abstract submission and registration for the 18th Conference of the European Association of Psychology and Law.

The deadline for submission of abstracts is January 25, 2008.
All abstracts should be submitted via the online abstract: Please click here for the abstract registration form.

The symposium proposals may only be submitted by sending them to the following e-mail address: eapl2008@fd.unimaas.nl.

The Scientific Committee encourages submission of abstracts in the following areas:

· Civil cases
· Decision making in forensic experts
· Eyewitness evidence
· False confessions
· Forensic psychodiagnostics
· Juvenile delinquency
· Law and neuroscience
· Lie detection
· Malingering and deception
· Mental illness and offending
· Offender profiling
· Psychopathy
· Rehabilitation of offenders
 
 
Submission of Abstracts
The deadline for submission of abstracts is January 25, 2008.
All abstracts should be submitted via the online abstract form.
Abstracts should not exceed 150 words. English is the official language and will be adopted in all the publications and presentations. Proposals for oral or poster presentations are considered. The Scientific Committee will review all abstracts. In some cases abstracts can be rejected as oral presentations but accepted as posters. The first author on the abstract is considered to be the presenter of the paper at the conference. Applicants will receive notification of acceptance no later than March 15, 2008.
 
 
Submission of Symposia
A symposium is a collection of related presentations.
The Scientific Committee invites participants to propose symposia for the 2008 EAPL Conference. The person submitting the symposium proposal is the symposium coordinator. He/she is asked to submit an integrated summary of the goals and objectives of the symposium plus four or five abstracts of the individual contributions. Symposium proposals should not exceed 500 words. Symposium coordinators are encouraged to strive for international diversity amongst the different abstracts.
