Roy Schrijver (*30-12-1984) joined our group in 2008 as an intern from the Hogeschool Zuyd and after he finished his studies he started as a technician in our lab.
Roy is working on the construction of plasmid vectors for the expression of recombinant coagulation protein variants, and at the same time is preparing stably transfected cell lines for plasmids that have already been produced. Purification of these proteins is also something that Roy is an expert in.
Since 2010 Roy uses the Biacore T200 to screen and characterize bio-active compounds for treatment of thrombosis and bleeding disorders.
