



Jiangfeng graduated from Northwest A&F University of China with a Bachelors' degree in Biological Science 2006 and also a second diploma in
Computer Science and Technology. In the same year Jiang started his Masters' training in Bioinformatics in the same university in China, with a focus
on the detection of novel MiRNA's.
Since the 3rd quarter of 2009 till now, Jiang has been pursuing his PhD study in the Bioinformatics group at the Biochemistry Department of CARIM, at the
Maastricht University. Jiangs fields of interest are: Homology Modelling, Structure Based Virtual Ligand Screening, protein docking and MD simulations.
Jiang has a passion for table tennis and sports in general and likes red whine (even though he does not have the Caucasian alcohol dehydrogenase gene variant.......).
Despite his height, Jiang is a giant with Linux.
